Event Newsflash
I join the Historical Fiction Writers' online debate Saturday 12 November, and need your help!
It’s official — I’m an idiot. Sometime back during my Covid stupor I signed up to take part in an online historical authors’ debate this weekend. So here goes: I’ll be representing Roman Britain, and making the case for why that place and time is the best. My competitors, from round the world and through time, include writers Salina Baker, John Fletcher, Cathie Dunn, and Alison Stuart, and our gracious host will be Sharon Bennett Connolly. Between us we’ll be arguing for the early Mediaeval period, the court of the Sun King, the English Civil War, and the American Revolution, too.
So I hope you’ll book to join us at 7.00pm UK time on Saturday 12th November, via the Eventbrite link. It’s absolutely free, and should be an entertaining hour or so for history-lovers. I would love your support, and your vote for Roman Britain. And so would Quintus and Tiro.
Vivat Roma!
