Come along to Castleford, West Yorks, on Saturday 1 June, 10-5.30, when the town gets taken over by Romans to celebrate its amazing ancient history. I’ll be there too, giving an illustrated talk and signing books at Castleford library. I’ll be delving into Castleford’s Roman heritage and revealing why it plays such an important role in my latest Quintus Valerius mystery novel, The Loyal Centurion.
