Apologies to my lovely friends outside the UK. This is a flash notice for anyone who can get to Bromsgrove in Worcestershire, next weekend. I’m taking part in Meet the Author at the International Living History Festival at Avoncroft historic buildings museum, 26th and 27th April, 10am to 4pm.
I’m be there at Meet the Author, in my trusty Roman costume to give talks, chat, and sign my books all weekend,
My illustrated talks, at 2.00 on Saturday and 11.30 on Sunday will focus on how I research my Quintus Valerius books, and of course the new Otto Cornelius series.
It’s such a beautiful site, and the whole event will be very exciting. Do bring your family to explore the 19-acre site full of historic buildings, brought to life with re-enactors from the Bronze Age to the Cold War. There will be lots of hands-on activities: you can explore the historically themed market and delve right into the past.
I’m looking forward to seeing you — if you miss the talks, please don’t be shy. Just come for a chat at my book signing table, in the museum’s main hall.
And book your tickets now!
They had me at the Redcoats pondering the Tardis. Wish I was closer.
We're going there on Wednesday! Too booked up at the weekend with Wonderwool and Morris, what a pity.
