I note you mention your new Otto Cornelius mystery series and that you are commencing research for the second story. Do you have a publication date for volume one?
Have to say it was actually worth missing a meetup! I had a great time, the exhibition is very good. My only regret was that I bottled out of going up to Jennifer Saint and saying hi…
I had a paperback of "Pompeii" and read it many times. I think I read it for the last time shorty before I sold it off in my ongoing downsizing.
My copy is also old and well-read. Horrible giving up books, isn’t it?
I'm a little sad I sold it, but I really needed many, many fewer books and more money. It was in such good shape.
Not ruling out rebuying it!
Hi Jacquie

Wish I did, Richard. It will be sometime after April next year, due to my move to a new publisher.
To compensate for the wait, I’m expecting Otto # and #2 to follow each other snappily, with #3 on their heels.
Plus my Quintus Valerius series will be re-launched next year - there’s a fourth Quintus, set in Bath, written and ready to go.
2026 should be very busy.
Thanks Jacquie I look forward to all of them!
Have a great time in Wroxeter!
I’m very excited. You can probably tell. Missed you last night! Xx
