TBF, I didn't even know you had a publisher. I found your work (and Fiona's) simply because the mighty Amazon algorithm noticed I looked at/bought many ancient Roman mysteries/fiction and said I might like yours. It was correct. Put you right up there with Lindsey Davis, Amanda (Damion Hunter) Cockrell, Phyllis Smith, etc. as well as a number of people who write strictly ebooks and put them up themselves. Also the one-off which is one of my favorites (reread often) "Search the Seven Hills".
I’ve spent my summer editing a client’s huge book, teaching creative writing, and doing some research for the next series. I too will be glad to get back to writing - in a week we’re off to England for a month , where I can walk and think and write with fewer disturbances, and I can barely wait.
Yes. West Norfolk, as always. I’ll be going to London for a day to see the Silk Road exhibit at the British Museum, but other than that sticking close to what is basically my second home.
Oh no, more waiting for your books!

Everyone is equal under the algorithm. :)
I’ll do my best to hustle things along, just for you, Sally.
One a positive note, I’ll be starting work on QV5, The Irish Slave, this month. So you may get two coming along together.
You're a pal. ;)
Good luck, and regards to him inside for going along on all the research.
You've more energy than I do these days, Jacquie! Best of luck with finding a publisher.
If I'm honest, Marian, it's simply knackering! I'll be glad to get back to plain writing.

Whereabouts are you staying? East Anglia?

I’m tempted by the Silk Road exhibition too. Might see you there. X
Good luck!
Thanks, Alan.
